Despite facing greater scrutiny, patents on artificial intelligence (AI) and software continue to be granted. Learn about the current state of patent protection for software and AI inventions. Registered Patent attorneys Ryan Phelan and Nicholas Terrell will present on the shifting factors to consider when deciding whether and how to protect such inventions. They will discuss recent trends in case law regarding patenting software, examples of AI patents and applications published by the U.S. Patent Office, and strategic and business reasons for securing patent and other IP protection.
