Abstract:
The Thaxton Lab has pioneered the synthesis and characterization of synthetic lipoprotein nanoparticles. This talk will cover the biology of high-density lipoproteins, the synthesis and characterization of functional nanoparticles that have some features of native HDLs, and how these agents are being used as targeted cancer therapy.
