The MS in Leadership for Creative Enterprises program, in partnership with the Buffett Institute for Global Studies and the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities is excited to present a speaker event with Shona McCarthy, Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Society.

Throughout a career dedicated to championing and developing arts and culture, McCarthy has held a number of executive positions. Prior to becoming the Chief Executive for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Society, the charity that underpins the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - the largest arts festival in the world, McCarthy worked as the Chief Executive for the Culture Company, Director of the British National Council Northern Ireland, and CEO of Imagine Belfast. Outside of working with Fringe, McCarthy is an award-winning leader of arts and culture and an active chair member of Oh Yeah Music Centre and Walk The Plank Creative Agency.
