Northwestern and Argonne Workshop on Computational Neuroscience

Argonne National Laboratory is interested in developing stronger links to the neuroscience community at Northwestern. A workshop will be held at Argonne to connect NU and ANL researchers together to build new collaborations. The invitation is open to faculty, post-docs and graduate students at Northwestern University and to Argonne Staff. Please register if you would like to attend.

The workshop will cover:
1) Examples of ongoing research
2) Computational resources at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF)
3) ALCF visit: Machine room and Visualization Laboratory
4) Ideas for new research in computational neuroscience between NU and Argonne
5) Routes to successful proposals for computational time at Argonne
6) Live demonstration of some of NEURON’s features (2:00 - 5:00 PM)
