Description:

Chicago Ideas Week, October 15-21, 2018, is a seven-day festival featuring over 200 global thought leaders and innovators speaking on a variety of topics ranging from leadership and life’s lessons, to science and technology, to the most pressing issues of the day and the most creative insights in entertainment. We offer more than 150 engaging programs each Chicago Ideas Week to stimulate, inspire and enlighten participants while providing the opportunity for attendees to think, dream and connect. The best part? Most tickets are only $15, ensuring that anyone who wants access to great ideas can have it.

Over the last five years, Chicago Ideas Week has showcased a diverse lineup featuring some of the most important minds of our time. Past speakers include President Bill Clinton, General Colin Powell, Jack Welch, Bryan Cranston, Martha Stewart, Desiree Rogers, Lupe Fiasco, Deepak Chopra, Marilu Henner, Reverend Al Sharpton, George Lucas, Sal Kahn, Hillary Clinton, Sean Combs, Malcolm Gladwell, Sandra Day O’Connor, Buzz Aldrin, Mike Bloomberg, Donna Karan, Rep. John Lewis, Martine Rothblatt and many, many more.

In addition to 90-minute Talks and hour-long Conversations, we partner with the best people and places in Chicago to offer hands-on Labs where attendees can learn anything from baking the perfect pie with Bang Bang Pie Shop to creating actual graffiti art with Chicago’s most iconic street artists JC Rivera, Matthew Hoffman and Sentrock.
