About True Ventures + Fellowships:
True was born in 2005 out of a simple vision: create a new kind of venture capital firm that focuses on supporting the earliest stage Founders and their teams. They believe in building community, taking bold risks, and supporting companies throughout their entire lifecycles.

Special guest Ann Crady Weiss will offer information abou the Priya Haji Fellowship and the True Entrepreneur Corps Fellowship (TEC).

True Ventures’ Priya Haji Fellowship is a program for new college graduates—particularly women—seeking their first full-time startup jobs. Fellows are paired with companies in the True Ventures portfolio in the San Francisco Bay Area, with whom they work for nine months.

Established in 2009, True Ventures’ True Entrepreneur Corps (TEC) fellowship brings college students from across the country to the Bay Area to spend the summer with our portfolio companies. For those interested in technology and startups, becoming a TEC Fellow can be a life-changing experience.

About Ann Crady Weiss:
Ann is a venture partner focused on early stage investments. She has deep experience as an entrepreneur, having founded and run two companies, both funded by True. Her experience is in early stage consumer internet, mobile, and IOT companies. Her passion is working with early stage entrepreneurs who have a clear vision and quiet confidence.

Ann is currently the CEO and co-founder of Hatch Baby, which is bringing new parenthood into the IOT age. They are creating a series of smart products and services designed to make the transition to new parenthood more beautiful and joyful. Ann previously founded and ran Maya's Mom, a social networking site that was acquired by Johnson & Johnson. She was an executive in the Search and Marketplace division of Yahoo! and also served as the SVP of Consumer Experience for BabyCenter.
Ann received a BA from University of California, San Diego and a JD, cum laude, from Georgetown Law Center. When she is not working at True or Hatch Baby, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and aspires to exercise more.

There will be office hours with True Ventures prior to the Q+A from 3-5 PM. You can sign up here.
