Register for this workshop led by Heidi Huckabay, Senior Design and Prototyping Specialist with the Segal Prototyping and Fabrication Lab! Jewelry making in the Segal Prototyping Lab will allow you to dive into a creative project while learning close tolerance machinery.
This workshop is intended for novice shop users currently enrolled in DTC.
This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to make one of the following:
-wooden rings using the lathe
-machine-textured leather ID bracelets using the mill
-wooden medallions using the wood router
-metal medallions using the water jet
-or, acrylic initial pendants using the laser cutter.
Space is limited to 26 students. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
