Learning Objectives
At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the impact of quality educational experiences for trainees during patient rounds on the institution's ability to deliver effective high quality care.
2. Explain the argument for adding educational excellence to clinical/surgical skill and teamwork skills to the list of core competencies needed to deliver high quality care.
3. Discuss tips to improve teaching skills on rounds and related educational theory.
