Description:
BOOST stands for "Building Opportunities for Original and Sustainable Thinking" and is an annual event put on by the Delta Emerging Leaders. Social entrepreneurs with unique and innovative projects pitch their concepts to a live audience at BOOST. Audience members vote with their ticket contributions to determine the winner, who receives a BOOST grant. Grant funds are raised by the Delta Emerging Leaders through sponsorship and ticket sales. Cumulatively, BOOST has provided $45,000 to 12 Midwest-based environmentally friendly innovative projects over the past six years.
