Join us for this Workshop: Guidance on Policy, Priority Areas, & Resources for Conducting Health & Wellness Research with Chicago Public Schools & Evanston School Districts

The session will cover:
» Policies & procedures for conducting research in Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and Evanston schools, including overview of CPS Research & Review Board process, requirements and timelines for collaboration projects
» Research & evaluation priorities for CPS offices working on health-related issues
» Resources available to support research collaborations (e.g. data sharing, grants, partnership support through Northwestern’s School of Education & Social Policy's Office of Community Education Partnerships (OCEP) and Feinberg School of Medicine’s Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities (ARCC)
» Examples of previously successful research/evaluation partnerships
» Questions & Answer session with CPS, Evanston, and Northwestern representatives
Session speakers will include representatives from the CPS Research and Review Board, Office of Student Health and Wellness, and Office of Social & Emotional Learning and Northwestern’s Office of Community Education Partnerships and Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities.
