SUMMARY:One Book One Northwestern: The Podcast Season 2 - Episode 1: Isolation
UID:545071@northwestern.edu
TZID:America/Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Welcome back to One Book\, One Northwestern: The Podcast! This year’s podcast episodes were created by students from two classes—a Medill class on podcasting\,(taught by Anne Ford) and an English class on feminist dystopian fiction (taught by One Book faculty chair Helen Thompson). Isolation\, powerlessness\, and the pressure to conform are the themes of this episode by Anna Margevich\, Baylor Spears\, and Jennifer Zhan. Some of the pieces you’ll hear emerged from interviews the podcasting students did with the English students. Others came about when the English students wrote their own dystopias\, and the podcasting students turned them into pieces for the ear. And others were created by the podcasting students all on their own. Every week we will post a new and original podcast starting Monday January 7th - February 4th. Each episode will be up on iTunes and SoundCloud weekly. Below is a listing of the release dates.\n\nMore Info: https://soundcloud.com/user-684831141/season-2-episode-1-isolation
