Grad students and postdocs are welcome to join us for a career panel where four newly appointed Northwestern assistant professors from different departments will speak and answer questions on early career topics.
SPEAKERS
Adriana Weisleder, Assistant Professor for Communication Sciences & Disorders; Director of Child Language Lab.
Dr. Weisleder is a developmental psychologist investigating early language development and processing in young children from diverse linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds, with a focus on dual language learners.
Yang Qu, Assistant Professor for Human Development & Social Policy; Faculty Associate for IPR.
Dr. Yang is a developmental psychologist examining what psychological and neural mechanisms underlie cultural differences in adolescents’ development, and how parents influence adolescents’ beliefs and brain.
Andrea Graham, Assistant Professor of Medical Social Sciences and Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Graham is a clinical psychologist who focuses on designing and testing digital technologies for the screening, prevention, and treatment of eating disorders and obesity and on evaluating their implementation.
Caterina Gratton, Assistant Professor for Psychology and Neurology.
Dr. Gratton is a cognitive neuroscientist studying how brain networks are organized and contribute to complex cognitive processes, and how these processes break down.
