Description:

A lunchtime gathering for faculty and postdoctoral fellows in the Humanities who plan to write individual grant proposals to secure research leave. In this workshop, we'll review and discuss how to write a successful application with a select group of Northwestern faculty who have won and/or reviewed national grants. Ample time is planned for Q&A and sample grant proposals will be pre-circulated.

Conversation will be led by Kevin Boyle (History), Dassia Posner (Theatre and Slavic Languages and Literatures), and Helen Tilley (Science in Human Culture and History).

Lunch will be served.
