The 14th Annual Pain and Palliative Care Conference will address evolution and expansion of palliative care in health care. Other topics will include helping families addressing serious illness, methadone for pain control, special issues for adolescents and young adults, care of the patient in final hours, spiritual and cultural issues, self-care for caregivers and the use of cannabis in palliative care.
