Description:

All Northwestern faculty, staff and students-

Please join INVO for the 4th event of its Entrepreneurship Seminar Series. A bookkeeper and accountant can manage much of the finance of your business. However, it’s important for entrepreneurs to also understand the underlying flow of finance in a business. Your balance sheet and capitalization table are your foundational components. Your budget and your long-term forecast are also critical to understanding your startup’s finances.

In this seminar, David Snyder, CFO of Exicure, will walk through the basics of financial terminology and concepts that are essential considerations for entrepreneurs. This seminar is not meant for MBAs and serial entrepreneurs. It will be targeted towards Northwestern scientists and physicians who are exploring entrepreneurship or just getting started. There will be time for Q&A.

Please register in advance.
