As one of the cities part of the "100 Resilient Cities", Chicago is taking steps through challenging strategies that include reducing disparities between Chicago neighborhoods, transportation and water infrastructure revamping,100% renewable energy-powered City buildings, and 100% electric bus fleet. But is it enough, and how does our industry directly play a part in it? How can your work and that of our peers play a role in the ever important role of resilience?

Join Illinois Green, speakers and panelists to learn about the foundations of resiliency planning, latest industry trends and its future within the city from resilience expert Joyce Coffee and Ranjani Prabhakar from the City of Chicago Mayor's Office, and learn how your work can become part of the plans for a resilient Chicagoland.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join two discussion tables focused around the following topic areas addressed in the Resilient Chicago plan.

-- Strong Neighborhoods: equity and equality
-- Robust Infrastructure: efficient, sustainable investment strategies and infrastructure
-- Prepared Communities: education, partnerships, communication and community engagement
-- Environmental Stewardship: resources planning and best design/management.
