In a dinner discussion hosted by Ben Gorvine, Southwest Neighborhood Faculty-in-Residence and Professor of Instruction in Psychology, four panelists will highlight key themes from the Hidden Figures book and relate their own experiences working with (and as) women and women of color in STEM fields as faculty/advisers/mentors/students. Featured panelists will include: Schnaude Dorizan, PhD Candidate, Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program, TGS; Ariel Dotts, PhD Candidate in the Driskill Graduate Program in Life Sciences, Feinberg; Christine McCary, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Instruction, Program in Biological Sciences; and LaTanya Veronica Williams, Ph.D., Associate Director for STEM, Office of Fellowships.
