Description:

The October group will feature a presentation and question and answer session on clinical trials with Dr. David VanderWeele. Dr. VanderWeele will discuss current prostate cancer clinical trials, how to locate clinical trials, how to determine if a clinical trial is right for you, and what to expect if you participate in a clinical trial.

The Prostate Cancer Support Group offers opportunities to share personal support and connect with others affected by prostate cancer and learn about treatment options and the potential impact of side effects on a man and his spouse or partner, and his overall quality of life. Facilitated by the Us TOO Prostate Cancer Education & Support Network, these interactive groups facilitate conversations to exchange information among group members assembled with the common goal of empowering each other with the knowledge that comes from experience.

We welcome all people affected by prostate cancer, including patients, caregivers, spouses and partners. You don't have to receive care at Northwestern Medicine to attend.
