With more meat and meat substitute options than ever before on store shelves, at restaurants, and at local farmers markets, how do we make the right choices for our health, our values, and the planet? Join Carly Feldmeier, of Nurturing through Nature, for a workshop about what it means to be a conscious eater when it comes to meat.
This workshop includes a discussion portion and a hands-on cooking activity. Participants will get to enjoy what they made during the cooking activity and will also go home with a recipe.
The discussion will explore questions like:
How can meat nourish our bodies?
How can we choose high-quality meat and what does that look like?
What are the environmental impacts of different types of meat production?
What does the intersection of conscious meat consumption for our health and the health of the environment look like?
Join us for a riveting discussion and also a hands-on cooking activity!
