Andrew T. Boyle is co-president of Boyle Transportation, a specialized trucking firm that provides exceptional quality, safety, and security to select clients in defense and life sciences. Prior to returning to the company in 2003, Andrew was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan. He earned an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and an AB from Bowdoin College. Andrew is also vice chair of the American Trucking Associations and a board member of the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI). He is past chair of the Trucking Association of Massachusetts and a current member of NUTC’s Business Advisory Council. He is a trustee of Eastern Bank and serves on boards and committees of several non-profit organizations including House of Hope and The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. 

Hani Mahmassani, NUTC Director and the William A. Patterson Distinguished Chair in Transportation at Northwestern University, will moderate this asynchronous virtual roundtable. Dr. Mahmassani brings over 35 years of research, academic and professional experience in transportation systems analysis, network modeling and logistics systems. He also currently serves on the International Advisory Board of the Panama Canal Authority. 

Bill Matheson is Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Schneider, a premier provider of transportation, logistics and intermodal services. In this role he is responsible for collaborating with the business and commercial leadership teams to advance Schneider’s market position. He also leads the enterprise’s sales acceleration, revenue management and commercial marketing initiatives and oversees global accounts and management for Schneider’s operation in Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business, with a concentration in transportation and logistics, from Indiana University–Bloomington. 

Ben McLean joined Ruan in 2007 and assumed his current role as Chief Executive Officer in January 2015. His prior roles within Ruan have included COO, CIO and oversight of the company's legal and assets departments. Prior to joining Ruan McLean assisted companies with mergers, acquisitions and equity offerings at William Blair & Company in Chicago, IL. His previous experience includes roles at Deloitte where he was a systems consultant and Cravath, Swaine & Moore where he assisted with corporate transactions. McLean holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree in computer engineering from Northwestern.
