This will be a long and arduous task to reach our North Star of eradicating racism, but we can, must, and will get there. We see and appreciate the beginnings of our important journey with the #WhiteCoatsforBlackLives and the #ShutDownSTEM acts of solidarity. But we must and will do more.
I hope you join us and the FSM Office of Diversity and Inclusion in our Juneteenth Celebration and Virtual Cookout on Friday June 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Our spectacular T37 Trainees Carmenisha Ward and Danielle Wishart will moderating!
To get in the spirit, we encourage you to order some takeout from one of the Black-owned restaurants listed here, compiled by our amazing T37 Trainee Danielle Wishart!
