Keynote from Andrew Swinand, CEO of Leo Burnett and industry leader with experience at Publicis, Procter & Gamble and much more. Following the keynote, we will host an exceptional panel of experts for a lively Q & A and small group networking.

Panelists:

Andrew Swinand is the CEO of Leo Burnett Group and runs the Central Region for Publicis Communications. Andrew is also the co-founder of Abundant Venture Partners, a Chicago-based incubator dedicated to improving the human condition through investments in healthcare and technology. Andrew became CEO of Leo Burnett when they acquired two companies he founded, which were focused on personalized content and search analytics. Andrew was named the “Top 100 in Advertising” by 4A’s, was inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement in 2008 and is on the board of the Ad Council.

Beverly Wright With over 25 years of marketing and advertising experience, Beverly has driven business growth for some of the most well-known and beloved brands in the world.  From household staples like Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles and Glade, to McDonald’s. Beverly’s experience has made her adept at addressing unique business challenges in a complex communications landscape. In her current role, Beverly is taking on one of the biggest, yet most rewarding clients of her career: The U.S. Army.  As Deputy Program Manager, her role at DDB is to create modern marketing solutions for the Army brand that build resonance with a new generation of prospects.  Beverly was honored as part of 2019’s Adweek 50, which is their yearly list of 50 standout marketing executives for that year.

Shivram Vaideeswaran is Chief Marketing Officer of Jamba, where he is responsible for leading brand strategy + messaging, culinary innovation, and guest-facing technology for over 800 locations. With a brand mission to make eating better easier and more fun, Shivram is charged with keeping Jamba at the forefront of health and wellness, consumer trends, and culture.  Shivram received his Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University’s Medill School and his B.S. in Marketing from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at The University of Maryland, College Park

April Carlisle is the Vice President of Shopper Marketing for Coca-Cola as well as an Adjunct Professor with the Medill IMC Professional Program, where she teaches courses in Shopper Marketing.  April leads a team of marketers at Coca-Cola, driving all North American programs across a large portfolio of beverages.  Prior to Coke, April was SVP of global shopper marketing at Leo Burnett / Arc, leading shopper marketing for clients such as P&G, Coke and Kellogg’s.  April started her career at Procter & Gamble in both sales and marketing and created and led the Shopper Marketing COE .  April was inducted into the Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame in 2019.
