Hi Everyone,
SPARC's annual conference is quickly approaching and we wanted to send out the official registration form. The conference will take place on Saturday, December 5th from 10am-2pm CST. We will have three breakout sessions throughout the day with speakers from the healthcare field and the larger Chicago community. The theme of this year's conference is "Evolving Systems: Advocacy in the Modern World," which hopes to address the ways that communities and activism have been affected by COVID and the move to online. For more information, please visit our website. The deadline to register for the conference is November 25th at 5pm CST.
We are also so excited to have Dr. Marina Del Rios as our keynote speaker this year. Dr. Del Rios is an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and is fellowship trained in both Emergency Ultrasound and Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research. She has extensive experience in community engagement, CPR education, and cardiovascular health promotion in high risk populations. Her current research is focused on geospatial analysis to cardiovascular risk and targeted community-based interventions to improve cardiovascular health in low-income and minority communities in Chicago.
We hope to see you there!
Please reach out to sparcfeinberg@gmail.com if you have any questions!
Best,
