Sheri Hagen is a director, screenwriter, and actress from Berlin. Born in Lagos/Nigeria, she grew up in Hamburg. She studied at the Hamburg "State School of Dance and Drama" and at "Studio Theater an der Wien" in Vienna/Austria. Besides appearing in numerous works for film and television (e.g. The Lives of Others, several episodes of Tatort and the Sokos, and more), she has been involved in theatre productions. She scripts all her films herself and produces them through her own production company, Equality Film.

Auf den Zweiten Blick / At Second Glance is set in Berlin and features three couples, each of which includes individuals who are sight-impaired. It is a thought-provoking film about love and perception that inspires the viewers to engage with different forms of diversity and forms of inclusion in the face of disabilities.

The film will be screened on Thursday morning between 10:30 am and 12 noon, but it will also be available on demand between November 28 and December 3 before the Q & A sessions via the Internet in German with English subtitles. A password protected Vimeo link (along with the password) will be sent to those who register for this event. The password will be valid between November 28, 2020, to December 3, 2020. You will receive the links within 24 hours of registration.
