The Dybbuk 100th Anniversary online festival// Dybuk na stulecie

PhD candidate  and Jewish Studies cluster affiliate, Rachel Merrill Moss, in partnership with the Theatre Institute of Poland, director Paweł Passini, and with support from the US Embassy and Consulate in Poland, have put together a two-day free online festival of talks and performances in honor of S. Anski's legendary play, The Dybbuk. On December 8th at 6:30pm CEST (11:30am CST), Rachel will be moderating a panel of international scholars whose own research intersects with The Dybbuk's creation and circulation. On the 100th anniversary itself, December 9th at 8pm CEST (1pm CST), the festival culminates in the world premiere of an immersive Dybbuk-inspired performance directed by Paweł Passini, using 360 degree camera technology, with live music, and performances in Yiddish and Polish.
