The Northwestern Israel Innovation Project invites you to a panel discussion titled: “In the Aftermath of COVID-19: The Impact on Science and Research” on Wednesday, December 9th, at 10:30 a.m. CST / 18:30 ISR time.
Charles Whitaker, Professor and Dean, Northwestern Medill School, will moderate the discussion between Richard D’Aquila, MD, Sr. Associate Dean for Clinical & Translational Research, Director of NUCATS, Professor, Infectious Disease, Northwestern, and Itai Benhar, Ph.D., Professor, Director of the Center for Combating Pandemics, Head of the Antibody Engineering Lab, and the Morris and Manja Leigh Chair in Biophysics and Biotechnology, Tel Aviv University. These academic experts will share their perspectives on the scientific consequences that COVID-19 will leave behind on human society. The talk will assess the everlasting socio-economic and cultural changes in our daily lives and how to confront the future.
