Michelle is a communications professional with six years of experience leading public relations and storytelling across sectors. From in-house communications in the international development sector, to agency experience with social impact clients, Michelle brings versatility and a global lens to her work — whether its content development for nonprofit initiatives or executing thought leadership strategies for corporate foundations. She also has a demonstrated commitment to social inclusion inside and outside the office. At Weber Shandwick, she was the chairperson of the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee in DC and in her client work, she led purpose-driven integrated communications campaigns. As a manager at PwC, she now coordinates external communications for CEO Action, an initiative that mobilizes the business community to advance D&I. Michelle is also the founder of Autism Articulated, a blog that has shared diverse perspectives on autism with more than 28,300 readers in 98 countries. She is a proud Ugandan-American with a passion for all things diaspora engagement, disability inclusion and sub-Saharan Africa.
