Sheila Botting FCMC, FRICS is a Principal & President for Americas Professional Services at Avison Young. Sheila recently joined Avison Young to lead the Americas Professional Services practice, and is a member of Avison Young’s Global Real Estate Executive. Through her executive real estate career, Sheila has led a number of multi-disciplinary real estate teams and assignments across the industry with owners, investors and corporate occupiers alike, earning the reputation as one of the “go to” commercial real estate advisors across the Americas. She has worked extensively within the development of new communities including Transit Oriented Development, along with new office and workplaces, especially crucial in this covid environment. For Avison, her mandate is to accelerate growth across the Americas for our professional services platform including corporate real estate, consulting, project management, valuation and real estate & infrastructure advisory.

Hani Mahmassani, Telemobility UTC Director, Director of the Northwestern University Transportation Center, and the William A. Patterson Distinguished Chair in Transportation at Northwestern University, will introduce the Telemobility roundtable series and lead audience Q&A. Dr. Mahmassani brings over 35 years of research, academic and professional experience in transportation systems analysis, travel behavior, network modeling and logistics systems. 

Richard Monopoli is Vice President-Development at Boston Properties, Inc. At BXP, Rich has led land acquisitions/dispositions, complex deal structure, and discretionary entitlement processes in the two largest BXP regions. He's negotiated over a million square feet of anchor tenant leases, kicking off over three million square feet of new office, mixed-use and life science development.

Susan Shaheen is professor In-residence in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. Susan is a pioneer in future mobility strategies. She was among the first to observe, research, and write about changing dynamics in shared mobility and the likely scenarios through which automated vehicles will gain prominence. She is an internationally recognized expert in mobility and the sharing economy. She co-directs the Transportation Sustainability Research Center (TSRC) of the Institute of Transportation Studies - Berkeley.
