Please join the East Asia Research Forum for a conversation with Frank L. Chance, Professor of Asian Languages and Civilizations (University of Pennsylvania).

Professor Chance will give a talk on the process of identifying a portrait of a Korean Buddhist Monk at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, better known for its  modern European paintings. The talk also examines portraits from China and Japan for comparison.
