On November 12th, join the Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities (ARCC) to learn from one another, share your thoughts on how to advance community-engaged research, and build new connections. This Virtual Learning Exchange will include insights from ARCC seed grantees and small group discussion time facilitated by leaders of community-academic research teams.

Registration is required. Register here to join us!

Note: Sign up is available for an optional Community-Engaged Research 101 Primer to be held at 9:30 am on Nov. 12th just before the Virtual Learning Exchange.

Session will include a performance from Chicago Artist Antwon Funches and presentations from community partners including Endeleo Institute & Oak Park Library and Northwestern academic partners including Ashley Knapp & Matt O'Brien. There will be time to hear about & discuss issues including how partnerships successfully formed & began working, how community partners have leveraged research findings/data/ relationships to make positive impacts in communities, and how have research partnerships leveraged small pilot grants to pursue next steps (e.g. larger research grant, community impact) and continue collaborating.

This session is open to all interested community and academic partners. Feel free to share this flyer or link.

The Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities (ARCC) funds seed grants to support partnerships that engage communities and stakeholders most impacted by health inequities in research collaboration with Northwestern research teams.
