Finding Floral Scent in the Genome: Linalool Production in Oenothera harringtonii (Onagraceae) As a Case Study For Floral Volatile Evolution
Speaker: Haley Carter, PhD student
Haley is interested in the evolution of plant volatiles, and their role in ecological interactions. Currently, Haley is studying the genetic basis of a floral scent polymorphism in Oenothera harringtonii using genomics, field, and greenhouse studies.
