The Translational Research in Solid Tumors (TRIST) Program presents:
Using T Cell Receptor sequencing to Better Understand the Tumor Microenvironment
Seth Pollack, MD
Associate Professor
Hematology and Oncology
Feinberg School of Medicine
Dr. Pollack’s research is mainly focused on targeting the immunogenic protein NY-ESO-1, which is highly expressed in many cancers including certain sarcoma, with T cells and vaccines. Using cytokines and toll like receptor agonists, the Pollack laboratory has been turning "cold" tumors "hot" in order to transform the sarcoma immune microenvironment and make immunotherapy effective for patients with advanced sarcoma.
