The study of over a dozen horses buried at Phaleron represents one of the largest scientific studies of horses in ancient Greece. The exceptional nature of the Phaleron horses is revealed through a broader understanding of horses and other animals in the ancient Greek archaeological record. This Zoom event is open to the general public and does not require Northwestern credentials to join.
