Saturday, May 14, 2022, 9am -11pm CT (breakfast served) is a workshop dedicated to talking through big ideas, asking questions, and sharing new work in anticipation of the Global and Local Strategies of Twenty-First Century African Artists Symposium that will take place in fall 2022. During and following the workshop, participants will be encouraged consider collaborative possibilities, either for scholarly or creative work, and to explore themes present in the upcoming symposium. This will be a hybrid event.
