Title: “Enhancing Quantitative Assessment in Musculoskeletal MRI with Steady-State Signal Modeling”
Current practice for treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system often involves qualitative or semi-quantitative assessment techniques. Applying quantitative MRI methods, where maps
of tissue parameters are obtained, and analyzing such results using advanced computational methods, could yield a more objective assessment of disease severity, complementing the current clinical paradigm. This talk will discuss cutting-edge developments in quantitative
musculoskeletal MRI, including novel physical signal modeling for improved parameter estimation, AI-based methods for synthesizing tissue parameters, and novel augmented-reality- based visualization methods.
