A Conversation with Ukrainian Psychological Scientist Olena Lutsenko about Psychological Vulnerabilities and Resources for Democracy

Olena Lutsenko, professor of applied psychology from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ukraine, and Claudia Haase, associate professor of Human Development and Social Policy will discuss key psychological vulnerabilities and resources for democracy, focusing on the themes of seeing (perception), believing (information processing), feeling (emotions), and connecting (relationships). Lutsenko will share some of her recent experiences that touch on each of these themes and together we will look at them through the lens of psychological theory and research. 

Lutsenko serves as the acting head of the Department of Applied Psychology and as the Head of Laboratory of Psychodiagnostics. She has authored more than 150 scientific papers, conference proceedings, books, and copyright certificates.
