Chicago Group of the Sierra Club & the Truman College Environmental Club are teaming once again to host our annual cleanup and nature tours at Montrose Beach! Please join us! In addition to beautifying part of Chicago's shoreline, we collect and catalog all the debris we find aiding analysis of the cleanliness of the world's water and beaches. Throughout the morning we will also lead nature tours of the natural habitats around Montrose Beach. This is a wonderful event for adults and kids alike and a great opportunity to bring your group together for a great cause. Alumni, faith-based, professional groups are encouraged to sign up. Come for all or part of the work period. Dress for the weather, wear a hat and sunscreen, bring a filled water bottle and work gloves if you have them. No dogs allowed.
