Traditional Chinese words and names can often be difficult for English speakers to pronounce.

If you have ever wanted to learn more about how to pronounce Chinese names, this is the event for you!

Join Professor of Instruction and East Asia Liaison Licheng Gu and Northwestern graduate student Ruonan Wang for a workshop on the basics of pronunciation and phonetic application.

The session will take place on December 6 from 9 - 10am at 1800 Sherman Avenue, room 7-600. Bring your curiosity, questions, and get ready to learn!

Register by Nov 30th. The workshop is limited to 20 participants. Light breakfast will be served.

**NOTE: Seating for this session will prioritize COA alumni who have taken the Navigating Cultures workshop. Other seats will be available on a space available basis. Confirmation for non-COA alumni will take place at least a week before the event.
