Maekawa Kazuo has been a professional manga artist for 25 years with 13 publications and 9 serialized works. In the past decade, he has dedicated himself to teaching and international exchange through manga education. In this talk, he will reflect on his years as a manga artist, his experience working in and around the manga industry, and the possibilities of using manga art and storytelling as a medium of cultural exchange.
