Join the Office of the Vice President for International Relations (VPIR) and the One World \ One Northwestern community on April 25 for our Spring Quarter Luncheon featuring staff from Northwestern's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
Towards Supporting International Students
CAPS staff therapists Elizabeth Nellamattathil and Qianhui Zhang will provide an overview of issues and apprehensions that tend to concern our international students and students identified as children of immigrants, including academic and cultural adjustment, performance anxiety, sense of belonging, career uncertainty, fear of gun violence, and more.
Elizabeth and Qianhui will highlight the services and programs available to students through CAPS and discuss student concerns that often present at specific times of the academic year, so that we as staff members may provide resources and more effective support as needed.
The One World \ One Northwestern (OWON) initiative, organized by the Office of the Vice President for International Relations (VPIR), meaningfully engages staff in Northwestern’s internationalization activities and encourages sharing and collaboration across the university.
