Latino contributions have shaped our nation's social, political and cultural life. Yet this wildly diverse demographic remains in many ways misunderstood and underrepresented across many industries, including media.
On May 5 and 6, a group of distinguished Latino journalists and editors working to tell stories that better capture the complexities of this group will gather at Northwestern. Over the course of two days, we will discuss some of the reporting gaps we see, and how to move the conversation about Latinos forward. We invite you to join the conversation.
