Description:
Dr. Carla Petievich (Professor Emeritus of History, Urdu, and Women’s Studies, Montclair State University and UT Austin) is the co-founder of the Hoshyar Foundation, which is dedicated to expanding girls’ education in underserved parts of Pakistan. She will be in conversation with Laura Brueck (ALC/CLS, Northwestern) about building a life and career combining scholarship and activism.
