This workshop will feature a discussion of how French literature holds within it the means to unthink and undo the false, abstract universalism that characterizes French thought and history. Discussion of what it means to work on “bad” objects or to be a “bad” reader welcome.
For a copy of the reading, please contact french-italian@northwestern.edu
Lunch will be served to-go at the end of the workshop.
