The Buffett Institure for Global Affairs - Language Curricula and Gender Working Group is sponsoring the lunch and lecture by the Trinbagonian-born educator and advocate. The lecture is Learning to Unlearn: Education for Gender Transformative Futures. It will explore the coloniality of gender and its role in shaping masculinities that enable a culture of violence in hte Caribbean, and it will analyze the ongoing interventions and proposed additional solutions that utilizes gender transformative approaches in and through education to address gender-based violence in the Caribbean.
