Description:

This session will cover general concepts of AI and differences between tools and models, including large language models and generative AI tools like ChatGPT. Participants will discuss potential ethical concerns around using generative AI in teaching contexts, identify strategies for talking with students, learn basic prompt engineering strategies, and start to articulate their philosophy around applying generative AI in their teaching.

This session is offered by Northwestern IT Teaching and Learning Technologies and the Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching.
