A faculty colloquium with Dr. Dennis Meade. Lunch will be provided.
What is the relationship between space, place, and religious conviction? To what extent does the lived environment shape and inform the content of religious sensibilities around belonging, family, community, and nation? Dr. Dennis Meade will present a work-in-progress that explores these questions based on an ethnographic study of religious life within an inner-city community in Kingston, Jamaica.
