The US-China relationship is important for the well-being of both countries, but the relationship has grown increasingly tense. The rhetoric has led many to worry that a new cold war, or worse, is on its way.
Are we on the road to war with China?
Can the U.S. work with China to address climate change before it's too late?
Is Chinese economic growth and political influence a threat to the United States?
Join Northwestern University's Weinberg College Center for International and Area Studies, the Quincy Institute, and Chicago Area Peace Action as we address these questions, and talk about the opportunities that exist to build a more stable relationship between the U.S. and China.
Doors open at 5pm for refreshments & socializing. Discussion starts at 6pm.
