Oftentimes, startup founders position themselves to investors as having an addressable market that is much larger than reality. While having a sufficient market size is critical to successful fundraising, it is more important for founders to represent numbers that reflect a market they can truly capture.
Come hear Jamie Kasuboski, VP of OMX Ventures, discuss why getting the market size correct is critical to investors and how startup founders can calculate these more accurately using a bottom-up approach. Jamie will share best practices that help founders look beyond a given indication and understand their patient segments better. The seminar will offer practical advice and insight for Northwestern students, postdocs, and faculty, and founders who are trying to get this number right.
