Description:

Arthur Banshayeko, also known as Arthur Ban, is a Burundian actor-director. For him, art is the best and secure platform that allows people to meet and discuss in freedom. It helps people to see and love difference. When we succeed to tame the beast of otherness in us and admire difference, we heal, we live, and we grow! Arthur's works are mainly about memories, legacy, and identity; and hen uses a technique he called CPC (Corps-Parole-Choeur) in his mise en scènes, in which he continuously searches the harmony between the speech, the body, and connection. He has worked on many awareness-raising projects on identity, peace and reconciliation, gender equity, human rights, and mental health through the screen, the radio, and the stage. Some of his projects are showcased in different cities in Burundi, DRC, Belgium, Tunisia, Germany, Uganda, Kenya, France, Malawi, Togo, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, and Rwanda. Arthur is an alumnus of the 24th class of
the Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab, passionate about the 3rd SDG (Good health and wellbeing) and SDG 5 (Gender equality).

Please Join us at the PAS house conference room. A light dinner and refreshments will be served.
