Marta New, CEO of Radyus Research, will provide a detailed overview of the drug discovery and development life cycle, covering foundational principles of drug discovery from initial ideation stages to early preclinical research. She will provide insight into conducting successful clinical trials and navigating regulatory requirements essential for drug approval as well as the post-approval landscape, including reimbursement strategies and market adoption. Marta will discuss common pitfalls to avoid across all stages, ensuring a smooth transition from development to commercialization. Dr. Marta New, the founder and CEO of Radyus Research, has established herself as a seasoned professional in venture capital investments, large pharma R&D, and university technology transfer. Her impressive career includes roles such as partner at Agent Capital, principal investor at Baxalta Ventures, and commercial lead at Baxter International’s renal franchise. Leveraging her expertise, she founded Radyus Research, advising clients on strategic product development, fundraising, and commercialization of preclinical therapeutics. Dr. New's extensive international connections and experience position her as a valuable leader in the biotech industry, drawing on her rich background to drive success in both academic and entrepreneurial endeavors.
